Did you ask junior year or senior year? Email or in person?
Did you write anything Down?

Did you choose teachers that liked you, or teachers for the classes that you got good grades in?
What exactly did you say?
Thanks.

When I was applying for eighth grade last year to Groton (eventually didn’t send in my application) I asked my math and English teacher. My English teacher was fascinated in why I wanted to go to BS (in a good way), and she completed it with enthusiasm. She was a but disappointed that I didn’t finish my application, but I told her I would apply next year and she smiled. My math teacher was a bit strict, but she completed it. I didn’t get to the point of the principal rec because I decided to apply next year at the time.

Ask in person, it shows that you’re serious.
And just say “I need you to complete a recommendation because I’m applying to prep school.” Include and envelope and stamp and the address sending to. Prep schools say that the rec has to be sent directly to them.
Good luck.
