How did you choose your teachers for rec letters?

<p>Hihi :)</p>

<p>I'm struggling with deciding what teachers to ask for my teacher of recs
I know that I have three in mind: Engish, math, and physics.</p>

<p>the thing is, I believe for common app, you can only choose two.
I'm applying for architecture for Cornell, would they want to see math and physics more than english?</p>

<p>Did you choose your teachers based on how much they know/like you? Or the teachers that teach the subject that are important for your major?</p>
