How did you do compared to others in your class?

Most 5s of anyone in my year.

Haven’t heard much for other classes, but did hear that the average score for my AP Chemistry class was a 1.4. This very smart guy got the only 3, there were no 4’s, and I got the only 5. It was the first AP Chem class offered at my school, but everyone else seemed to have given up and stopped listening to the teacher after the first month of school.

5 on Chinese (though not a class); according to my high school counselor, nobody has ever gotten any less than 5 in the history of the school. Honestly, I was somewhat worried that I’d make the first 4 ever.
I felt worse about it than most of my other exams, not to mention the staring I got for the reading section… I took most of the time allotted while most people finished within 10 minutes. It was pretty embarrassing.

There were about 60 other European History students, and I’ve heard from about 5, other than myself, who got 5s. Lots of 4s as well.

I got 5’s on AP Calc BC, AP English Lang, AP Bio, and AP Chem.

AP Chem: I’m estimating at least half the class got 5’s, and the rest got 4’s and maybe 3’s, but mostly 5’s and 4’s.

AP Calc BC: Estimating most people got 4’s and 5’s with several of my friends getting 5’s.

AP English Lang: Not so sure about this one, probably averaging more around 3/4 than 5 (I only know a few people who got 5’s).

AP Bio: Lol. The class average has been 2.7 or so for the past few years so I’m estimating an average of 3.

I got 5s on APUSH, AP Lang, AP Chem, and AP Stats.

AP Chem: The class did very well. My teacher had e-mailed me and said that she was incredibly pleased with our results. For the record, we lost 2 weeks of class, and my teacher said she woke up crying in the middle of the night. She puts up each year’s roster of students who get a 5, ever since 1997. So it is an intense class that gives honor to those who succeed, and a reminder to those who did not.

AP Stats: I assume 4s or 5s for everyone. Our teacher was competent and the exam wasn’t any more challenging then in class assessments.

AP English Lang & Comp: So far, 4s or 5s for everyone. This test was also not challenging, and the course instructors prepared us all very well. One thing that I’ve noted, though, is that those who are incompetent at using the English language correctly and professionally, did indeed get a 4. That surprised me, because they themselves said they’d get a 2. Either the graders are crazy, or our teachers rock!

AP US History: This was CRAZY! Our teacher didn’t do ANYTHING second semester except incredibly detailed research projects (ex. Meatpacking in the 1800s, Egypt during WWI, etc.). I never opened the textbook second semester. Plus, when we were cramming for the exam, he told us that it’d mostly be on 1800s info. WRONG. Tons of 1900s content on the MC. I thought I missed 20 MC and 7 DBQ, 8 and 6 for the two FRQs. Maybe APUSH is graded too leniently, who knows? One of my friends who actually kept up with the textbook and learned the real material instead of partying like the rest of us got a 4. Life is not fair?

The only AP class I took this year (freshman year) was Gov&Pol.

Because I’m in a rather selective IB program most people in my class did well. Someone put a poll up on our Facebook Group page and 19 out of the 30-ish that answered (including me!) got 5’s. I don’t think anyone got below a 3.

Pretty much everyone in my class that took the AP Lang got either a 3 or 4. No 5s. I got a 4
As for APUSH…seems like everyone got a 2, a 4 or a 5. No 3s. I got a 4 on that one, too:D

Bleh, worse, much much worse. I guess my essay grader didn’t like the part where I talked about rocket ships.

Worse than acceptable, in my opinion.
