How did you do it?

I'm a clueless freshman in high school who wants to go to a ivy league school. Do you have any advice for getting accepted?

Simple Rules - You have to study well and get good grades; Get good SAT scores -preferably 2300 range; Have a few extra curricular activities that you really like and not for the sake of showing ECs; LUCK. Irrespective of whatever you do, please do with passion - you will get there; it will also help in the long run.

Agree with Shastha for the most part. You don't need to exactly be in the 2300 range for SAT scores, although it wouldn't hurt.
Don't go through high school with the ultimate goal of going to an ivy league school. "What is yours will be given to you. What is not yours you cannot get." or like Shastha said: "LUCK".

bring your towel.

sry couldn't resist :P

live, work hard, be passionate, dream

in addition to the towel, you might want to make sure you have enough ball point pens, arthur :)

get suspended on purpose (like kick a staff member in the face) so that you have lots of potential material to write for the essay. then you can write reflectively about the evolution of your conscience/rationality/values after you were suspended. and then write about how that staff member you kicked saved your life 2 years later and you evolved again - this time, emotionally. And how you've learned to be a better man.

;-)

liveNitup, did you kick a staff member in the face yourself?

yesss! Hitchhiker's Guide fans!
