I'm not sure if this question is under the right forum but hopefully it is. I will be getting my scores next week and I was wondering if anyone already had. I'm so excited, I'm only a sophmore but I feel confident on my results.

what day do the scores come out?

I got my score yesterday, but my school may have received it late.

I got a 233, but am sorely disappointed because I'm pretty sure only the perfect scorers get the $2,500 NMSQT scholarship. I missed 2 questions on the writing section.

wow. my school doesnt do the giveback until january! i just checked collegeboard & it said you can access your online score report the week of dec. 10th.

i think in order to access that online score report, you need your personal code which is on the paper your school should give you... but i'm not 100% positive. that's what happened last year.

A 233 is great! Ha I was aiming for only a 200. I'm sure you still have a chance at the scholarship, or if not that one atleast another. Usually in my school the Top Ten all qualify for scholarships but I don't think any of them ever got a perfect score

The year before a 215 qualified me as a "semifinalist", I probably won't get the actual scholarship because of my poor SAT scores, but still.

Perfect scorers are definitely not the only ones to get the scholarships. My sister got one with a 218 PSAT (we're in the midwest and the cutoff is low) and a 2250 SAT.

I got a 219, but im in NY, so i think its unlikely that ill make semi finalist, cause the curve hear is harder. It was 99% though. Cruve was ridiculous, 2 on grammar 73 and 1 on math 75

I got 99 percentile overall, and my 73 in writing was a 98 percentile for that section. I'm pretty sure New York and Massachusetts are the most competitive states when it comes to standardized tests. I'm not sure where my state (Pennsylvania) falls though.

Did anyone get their test booklets back with the score report? I want to see which questions I missed. Maybe I can request for it at my guidance office.

I'm really ****ed. I received a 223, but I'm from DC. Last year's cutoff was 223. I really hope it doesn't go up. I'm 99th percentile and if I don't get SF, I will seriously be angry.

220, but from NY, 5 points and I'd be so chill...the fact that it's so borderline makes me sort of antsy...

yea i got 201 from ny with a perfect reading. I was so pist.on the math fill ins i skipped one and the next 5 were right but in the wrong box. so I got a 61
They should change it lol

I got a 213.

72 CR
69 Math
72 Grammar

I was hoping I didn't do so bad in Math. I don't know if I can get semis. Last year the cutoff was 213 in my state (IL). I'm not sure what my chances are...I hear its 99th percentile for your state that decides your National Merit Semifinalist cutoff. Hopefully it stayed at 213 or went down...There were quite a few ppl with 220s and 230s at my school though. Probably less than 10, but thats still quite a few. But that is really not indicative of the state's cutoff, as my school is kind of on the higher end I'd say.

Congrats to everyone else. I wish I broke 220...

Here's hoping the cutoff stays at 213 or drops some...

yeah quad! let's beat the cutoff. (I got only 2 points above my state's)

have faith!

ok i'm kind of confused...if you have a score that is above the "cutoff" but all three of your sections aren't in the 99% (my math and writing were above but my CR was above 98% state and 97% nation), would you still make SF?

i'm really lost as to whether i have a shot at getting it or not because i also heard that each state is limited to a certain amount of SF...is this true?

I got 221 in Indiana

70 CR 75 Math 76 Writing

Last year Indiana's cutoff was 213. It doesn't matter what percentile each of your scores were. You'll probably end up getting semifinalist.

THANK YOU! i really really really hope you're a psychic

in Michigan - 224 SI ( a drop from my sophomore 228)

CR=79
Math=72
Writing=73

anyone know what the MIchigan cutoff was for this year or last year?

thanks

There is a 2007 PSAT cutoff thread. Cutoffs vary from state to state and year to year. If you are above 224 you'll probably make it in any state.
