How did you do on this years PSATS?

Michigan was 209 last year. You'll be fine.

I got a pleasant 221 total (70 in reading, 75 in math, 76 in writing), which means that I happily qualify as a National Merit semifinalist (WA). Really hope I win the Merit Scholarship in the end. Congratulations to everyone else who earned satisfactory scores!

Hi, I just registered.

224 (75, 76, 73) on this year's PSAT in California (that qualifies, right?) up from 195 last year (73, 69, 53).

By the way, if you want to get your results early and have a collegeboard account you can go to your 2006 score report page, click on a subject, and then change the 6 in the url's "testyear=?2006" to a 7. This gives access to your 2007 report.

I haven't gotten my scores back yet, but I'm pretty confident I did worse than my sophmore year lol.

Took this for the first time as a junior...Got a 160, lol. The highest in my school was like a 205. And the average was 90.

My counselor is set to mail them out and wouldn't tell me what i got "in the interest of fairness" or something. However, I got a 230 last year and she promised me I improved this year... I'm dying to see what I got (though there's only around 5 possibilities, since I know I missed at least 1 CR and 1 writing)

mine's not there! It said "we're sorry..." blah, blah, blah....

yeah im pretty sure i did worse than soph year too.. i got a 72 CR 70 M 62 WR sophomore year. i was expecting to easily improve from that score simply due to writing.. but was it just me or was the vocab difficult this time??

my guidance counselors are still waiting a week to give ours out.

by the way, anyone know how harsh the curve was for CR?

No curve on CR. -1 => 79.
Writing curve really harsh. -1 => 76.

writing was harsh..I got hte lowest in writing..math was freakn' easy. CR was alright..

I thought math was the hardest and writing was the easiest. I know I missed atleast two on the math.

math not too bad, cr was what killed me. 5 wrong CR, 1 wr. math.

what was 5 wrong CR?

236 in CA, the writing curve got me.

i don't know what is the wrong with me. I'm taking precalculus honors and i have a b+. I got 60 from my math section............

Nothing is wrong with you. CC has an abundance of over achievers and these SAT tests are a fact of life, but don't measure your intelligence or capability. Take them, do your best, and then move on with your life - with or without the so called "dream" school.

219!
ONE WRONG in math = -50 points.
wtheck??

The test was apparently just so easy that the curve was horrible. Meh.

I haven't gotten my score back but if the math curve was really that harsh then I'm definitely screwed. I know for a fact I got atleast two wrong.
