As far as your persoanly goals are concerned and what you had hoped to make, how does everyone feel they did on this test? I think I'm going to hit my predicted score, so I can't complain...but i misread one math problem and one science problem that I completely knew how to do and would have been right had my reading of the question been accurate. oh well, here's to careless mistakes! You all can predict your score if you want or just give an overall feeling about the June ACT (my last test!).

I should have hit my target of 35; of all 16 pages of discussion in the ACT topic, I haven't missed a question yet.

i felt that math and english was easy, probably 34s min on those sections

however, reading I ran completely outta time, had to guess on 15, maybe it was because I was spacing out too much

science, i did OK on, like a 31 32

shahein, you very well might have a 36!

i'm pretty sure i got a 35. i know i missed one or two on science and just one on math (stupid mistake) and i haven't seen any wrong on reading or writing. it's easy to make a mistake on writing. i'm hoping for a 34.5 or a 34.75, becuase a 35 or 35.25 would mean that had i not misread two q's, i could have had a perfect score with .5 more points (something i did not expect but kinda hoped for).

shahein, what was your SAT score...mid 1500's and 2300+?

I only took the old SAT once--to see if I needed to focus on the SAT--and scored a 1550 on it. I then decided to stay with that score on SAT and focus on ACT instead.

HOWEVER, National Merit gave me quite a surprise and told me that I must take the new SAT. Now, I have to switch gears and start prepping for SAT in October (I'll be a senior in the coming year)...

COMPARED TO APRIL's TEST:
math and english were pretty hard.
science was okay.
reading was alot easier as well as the essay.

yeh, you'll have no problem on the new SAT...i should have had a 1560 but screwed up the math and only got 750 on that part. i'm pretty sure i got an 800 recently and will combine that with the 760 CR. writing, who knows? i'm on that iffy-iffy line for the PSAT (217 while last year in TN 216 was the cutoff and higher than normal) due to missing a percentage problem (put .05 instead of the cost which was 1.05).

You think Tennessee's cutoff will go down?

As long as I get 30+ I will be happy. I thought I did reasonably well on all sections besides Math.

This would all come down, if they don't accept my all gooey (yellow/green) answer sheet. :)

I'm aiming for a 25.

can anybody help me!

can i just memorizedall the science formulas, theories, and concepts before taking the real test, so i don't need to read those science passages when taking the real test = save time = hopefully a 36!

for reading, what are the best strategies? please help....i always run out of time

math is ok.......

english, any good book for idiom, grammar, of usage?

you don't need to know any formulas or theories for the science section...

for reading, read fast.

i don't think there are even any really in-depth writing questions on the ACT that delve into the usage of idioms and whatnot, most of the questions concern punctuation and noun verb agreement

i got 1 single question wrong on all 16 pages of discussion, so im hoping for minimum 33.

I got 0 wrong from the discussion so Im hoping for a 32+

Everything went well except for math. I got a 34 in April, and, honestly, I'll be happy if I make a thirdy this time. Something just wasn't clicking on the math side of my brain. What can I say?
