My CR is weak (600) and math is strong (720+)

I take my test in January 25 and so I want to improve my writing section.

I'm on my last test from the bluebook and I'm still hitting low 600's. The thing is, I keep making the same mistake (noun-verb agreement and idiom errors).

I review all my work but I make mistakes or can't decide between two "reasonably-sounding" ones.

What is your advice?

Also, I just can't grasp idioms because I don't speak English at home. It's not obvious for me that it's "protest against" because "protest on" sounds pretty good. I can't tell the difference. I also seem to make at least one mistake on the last 5 questions on the 35 question writing section.

I need to get 700+ so that I can break 2000 next month! Please help me.
