Depending on what state you live in, you could take it online. Florida has (one of) the best virtual school programs and if you’re a FL resident, you can take classes online for free. Since physics isn’t a requirement, nor am I interested in it, I decided I’m going to take it online in my Junior year (next year). You may be interested in doing the same.

This year I’m taking:

Geometry Accelerated
English 9 Accelerated
Physical Education
World Geography Accelerated
Biology Accelerated
Spanish Pre-AP

Next year I’m taking

Algebra II Accelerated
English 10 Accelerated
Physical Education
AP World History
Honors Chemistry
AP Spanish

I wish you the best of luck!

This year has been fun so far and I’m disappointed it’s almost over. I wasn’t doing too hot at the beginning of the semester, but I fixed that up and now it’s pretty fun to watch my grades go up as the teacher inputs my assignments. I went from an F to a B in one of my classes in about 6 weeks. It wasn’t easy, but I did it.

As for next year, the schedule looks pretty intimidating, but the AP World teacher is supposed to be really helpful and will guide you through pretty much everything you need to know for the AP exam at the end of the year. My Spanish teacher is also the AP Spanish teacher and she is one of the best I’ve ever had, and I am really looking forward to Spanish next year.

Honors Chemistry… I have no idea what to expect. One of the teachers is supposed to be pretty nice but does assign a pretty substantial amount of homework. There are about 3 honors chem teachers so it is a shot in the dark.

I wish I could take some classes over the summer and maybe get my arts requirement out of the way. My district doesn’t offer anything like that, so I am stuck using it as one of my classes sometime between now and when I graduate.

The rest of my schedule (11th and 12th) is pretty tentative since I am not sure what I can and can’t take. I hope to take a slew of AP classes, and maybe tone it down my senior year like many others do. Sorry for the wall of text.
