How did YOU hear of CC?

<p>I'm just curious of how others have heard of CC. I hope this isn't a repeated thread or dies out within the next few minutes! Anyway, here's how I found out:</p>

<p>I used google.com to search: "What are my chances at JHU?", and I didn't expect to find anything lol..</p>

<p>I was looking to see when people got their AP scores in the mail and found this site.</p>

<p>It was in a magazine that a girl from my school started.</p>

<p>I googled something about something having to do with some scores (I think it was SATs... or something). And I found this site where people are like "Rate my chances" where everyone (or so it seemed at the time) was a valedictorian, president of 5 clubs, an athlete, 4.0 GPAer, and extremely high SAT scores. I thought to myself, "Wow, what a bunch of perfectionist elitist people!"
Then I found myself in need of advice about colleges, so I tried to remember the site and came back, only to find out that my first impression was not true. And the rest is history.</p>

<p>looked for free math 2c practice tests. obviously never got any free ones except sparknotes but i landed on this site.</p>

<p>I'd read about it from time on various college admissions websites, but I finally wandered over after seeing several people reference it on LiveJournal's college_help community.</p>

<p>Was googling for PSAT cutoff scores as well and somehow stumbled into one of the chances threads.</p>

<p>I googled something a few months back, became frightened by one chances thread (I distinctly remember the first thread I read; it was this person with enough ECs to fill an entire page), then became addicted shortly after.</p>
