"How did you hear of us?"

<p>So, the "how did you hear of said institution" question. I'm thinking of putting "divine inspiration" for all of mine...or "the clouds parted and airplane trails in the sky wrote out, "Apply to MIT!""</p>

<p>Thoughts? What are you guys saying? The truth?</p>

<p>How you “heard” of the institution? What kind of a question is that? You hear names like MIT since you were a kid… sorry I can’t be of help, but that seems like a bogus question if my interpretation of it is correct.</p>

<p>I said I visited the college I applied to with my sister when I was younger and liked it.</p>

<p>I like divine inspiration, though. Kind of wish I had put that!</p>

<p>I put “reputation” and “from my friends” for some of them. It’s a weird question to ask, but the college just wants to know how people are hearing of them (and thus how to direct their advertising dollars.)</p>
