How did you make "physical" samples of architecture portfolio?

Hi. I'm having a great problem sending my portfolio samples... I have high-quality JPEG files of my art work so I could upload them on SlideRoom and send them to the colleges I have applied for transfer. However, one college requires me to send "physical" samples of my art work so I tried to print, scan, or whatever I could do in my school's library but I can never get high-quality photocopies/prints of my portfolio works. The photocopies/prints turned out to be very blurry and unclear. So I'm thinking of ordering a photocopy/print-out service but I'm not sure where I should ask for it. Has anyone ordered a photocopy service? Does CVS or Shutterfly produce high-quality photocopies? Or any other place you would recommend? Thanks a lot in advance. I appreciate your help!

Produce a photo book. Lots of online sites. Can probably do it locally too.

If you are trying to figure out how to get a high quality scan of your artwork the local reprographics places that serve architects usually have large scale scanners.

If you don’t have the camera gear and expertise to DIY you may want to outsource it. Find a photographer that can photograph art and the like and ask him to generate the hardcopies. If the colleges insist on printed materials that’s the way to go. 4 years ago when we did this for my daughter’s architectural portfolio I used my DSLR camera and gear to do it and it was quite tedious but excellent results at the end.
