I’m 2 for 2 so far, with 9 more to go. Next one is MIT, and that is going to be the one that will make be the happiest or saddest. The others ones all come within a week of each other and I likely will not be thrown if I get a few rejections if I get acceptances.

First I got a big heart sinking feeling and was in complete denial, then I refreshed the page just to make sure, then I went to tell my dad, and he flipped a **** because he’s an alumni there, then I went back to triple check that it was a rejection and not an acceptance, then I was depressed and went to bed. I woke up the next day and didn’t really care anymore.

Other rejections have not bothered me in the least.

I think it’s funny though how when I get rejection letters, I read the entire thing. But when I get acceptances, I usually only read the first paragraph.
