The test is out of 180.

I didn't know how to design the test and I didn't do a good review of nuclear physics, so I missed those, which is like an automatic 18 points off.

Aaahh, that FR! With the exception of the thin-film interference (?), I knew how to do it all once! Lack of sleep or lack of cramming got me. :( Missed the entire electric fields question. Would have been entirely doable had I been in the right state of mind.

but a three is what like 35% overall?

Sorry I had some illegal questions.

u cant discuss free response questions wait 48 hours.

i didn't think MC was too bad.. probably left 5 blank, around 10-15 wrong...... so we'll see.

FRQ, I actually got an answer for all of them cept for one...... i'll discuss later, someone already mentioned it above me.

didn' tknow how to do it, but other than that I didn't think it was too hard.

my test was administered at 1:10 so i was thinking that was actually illegal on my schools part because its supposed to be administered from 12-1. But everyone took the test anyway. Im not sure if my school was correct though in doing this because wouldnt that mean all our scores are invalid?

I thought the MC was killer. I guessed - I swear - on like, all of them. It was brutal. The FR was okay, waaay better than the MC. I think I got somewhere between a 3 and a 4. Eh. So much for that 5 i was dreaming about.

I was raped 12.75 times.

MC was not too hard/not too easy. i could have done better if i had studied well ahead of time. FR seemed difficult at first; i must have just blanked because then i started coming up with things later on. unfortunately, the answers came to me too late and i didn't get to write everything i wanted to write. i'm not too bummed about it though since i didn't learn that much this year so i wasn't supposed to ace the test anyway.

The FR was quite challenging.

Hmm this thread already exists... oh well, I can post in both. FR was unbelievably easy. THose of you who say it was hard have clearly not seen other tests (not to sound too mean, though.) It was much easier than say 2003 (or 2002.. cant remember) which i found to be unbelievably difficult. 1/3 of this test covered the easiest units in physics. It omitted one of the hardest. BUt yeah, that was me. I had around 15 minutes to check answers... that was nice.

MC was meh. Okay. Some were hard, some were really easy. AZverage difficulty i would say.

I forgot to say something... Difficulty is very relative on a multi-topic exam. Some people dont know certain topics, or even subtopics, that others know well. THats what may have happened on this FR, except for half the questions that were generally very easy.

It was very hard for me.
Of course I didn't study/try.

the multiple choice questions were very hard some of them especially ones on equilibrium

current doesn't flow through a capacitor, RIGHT? :(

thats what i put and i put the capacitor 1 had most charge

i skipped 15 (eek), but if i got at least 80% of the questions correct of the ones that i did answer, then combined with my FRQ (which went well for 1 and 5, mediocre for 3, 4, 6, and downright miserable for 2), i might have, i just COULD have pulled off a 5 =|

i dont know... 80% of 55 questions, it's kind of steep...

lol u shoulda had no problem with no.2

all u do is just have them stand at 10 m interval and have them time and then u take two derivatives

I don't see why so many had so much trouble with 2...I know we can't discuss it really, but I actually thought that was the easiest question they could have asked. I was very relieved when I saw it.

We are allowed to discuss this stuff after 48 hours, right? I would love to hear what some people put for 2...mainly because it was the only free response question I'm pretty dang sure I got right.

I really wish I had seen 5 sooner, as then I would have stopped being so detailed on 1 and skipped ahead to it. :(
