This year I intend to take the sat ii biology. I'm currently taking AP Bio in my class and reading from the Campbell Biology textbook. However, my teacher skips certain sections of some chapters in this textbook. She says that the sections being skipped aren't being covered in the AP test. Now I'm wondering if these questions would be covered in the Sat ii test and if I should read them in preparation for that.

Why guess at what will be on the Bio Subject test?

Visit the College Board website to view the general topics covered by the test:
[ul][]Cellular and molecular biology
Cell structure and organization, mitosis, photosynthesis, cellular respiration, enzymes, biosynthesis, biological chemistry
[]Ecology
Energy flow, nutrient cycles, populations, communities, ecosystems, biomes, conservation biology, biodiversity, effects of human intervention
[]Genetics
Meiosis, Mendelian genetics, inheritance patterns, molecular genetics, population genetics
[]Organismal biology
Structure, function, and development of organisms (with emphasis on plants and animals), animal behavior
[li]Evolution and diversity[/li]Origin of life, evidence of evolution, patterns of evolution, natural selection, speciation, classifi cation and diversity of organisms
[/ul]

I’d recommend that you use a Bio Subject test prep book to direct your study.

Good luck!
