I was admitted as a transfer student to Kogod as a Finance major. My goal after undergrad is to get into consulting overseas. I want to double major in Finance and IS to put me in a better position to do so, so does anyone know how hard it is to double major? I hear SIS is pretty intense by itself, so I imagine two majors is even moreso. But is it manageable? Or would the course load be way too heavy?
the international studies major at american is a huge workload, and requires not only a language requirement, but courses in economics, sociology, and even game theory! you would be better off minoring in finance.
Maybe do an IS minor? No language requirement, no geographic area requirement.
