I've been accepted into Binghamton's Computer Science Department, and I'm considering attending.

How difficult do you think computer science would be for someone who was a B+ to A- math and science student in high school (on a scale from 1-10)? And how much time can a CS student expect to spend on homework each night?

Current CS senior here: it’s hard to generalize how difficult programming will be for you. I think some people just get programming, and some struggle. Your first CS classes won’t be too hard, but it could get harder for you depending on your knowledge level.

And while I’m here, let me say that I am in general quite happy with the program, and it has enough prestige to allow me to do two internships at a large NYC bank, and get a FT offer at a giant tech firm on the West Coast.
