Basically just the above. Do chances change depending on which college one applies to? I am a rising sophomore at UPenn with a 3.56 cumulative GPA hoping to study history at Oxford during my junior year. I am also a Benjamin Franklin Scholar (which is included on my transcript). What could I do to raise my chances? Thank you!!!
The chances do change depending upon the college to which you apply. The study abroad office at Penn is well-versed in this subject and should be able to guide you - from their website, it looks like they have programs with several colleges at Oxford. The 3.7 minimum GPA is taken seriously, but sometimes a high GPA in the major to be studied at Oxford can help with a borderline application. Good luck.
