How difficult is it to do an internal transfer into the Communications School?

I recently got admitted into UGS (the school of undergraduate studies) but want to major in advertising in the Moody School of Communications. Does anyone know how difficult it is to transfer schools?

I know that you have to take a prerequisite ADV class and do a personal statement application, but the Comm school board can still deny you even if you make the required GPA. Does anyone have any experience with the Comm school? How hard is it to get into?

I’m wondering this same question too.

It is quite competitive. You have to fill out an application, write essays, and take the 318J advertising course and pass it with at least a B. (A is preferable to getting into the program.) also I think getting letters or rec written by the advertising professor (Murphy or Wilcox) is recommend.
