How difficult is it to double major?

I was looking at the departmental websites, and it seems like a lot of the majors have many requirements... so would it be really hard to double major? What about double majoring with a minor, too?

What I was thinking about is governement and french, or governement and philosophy (french minor).

Or would it be better to have just one major and double minor?

Any help? Thanks. ;)

The ease of double majoring depends on which school you're in. For example, in the SFS it's impossible. In the Business School it's relatively easy. In the college it can be done with some advanced planning and it helps if you can find courses that will double count.

what is SFS?

SFS = School of Foreign Service, one of the 4 undergraduate schools.

But realize that everyone in SFS has language proficiency, so French fits in there. Separately you could have a major. Languages are just assumed in SFS. Oh… and some philosophy is required also.
