How difficult is it to get into the physics program?

<p>How hard is it with respect to the engineering programs? What kind of GPA and SAT scores would you need?</p>

<p>Freshman applicants do not apply directly to the physics major, but just to the College of Letters and Science. If admitted, the freshman will be undeclared.</p>

<p>Because physics is not a capped major, a student needs to just complete the prerequisites with a 2.0 GPA in the prerequisites (lower division math and physics courses) and overall in order to be able to declare the physics major.</p>
