How difficult is it to minor in accounting?

<p>I am a north campus major, but I am seriously considering an accounting minor. I am not strong in math or science (at the UCLA level, at least), so I wanted to get an accounting minor's perspective on how he/she is handling the minor in respect to his/her strength in math and science. The last thing I want is to take up the minor and kill my GPA. </p>

<p>I plan on taking the accounting minor only because I’m a BizEcon major and the minor is only 4 extra classes when planned correctly. </p>

<p>It’s not really hard, just competitive to get into. It’s an application process with no auto acceptance if you meet certain requirements and the average GPA (cumulative) is around 3.6</p>
