<p>I was planning to transferring from my cc to UT Austin's college of education for early childhood education with a minor in journalism (particularly photojournalism). I've always loved photography but I would also love to teach. As I was going through my ECs for the required resume I realized they were all photography: I was the head photographer for my HS newspaper, shot photos for a music website and some events (weddings, etc.), and volunteered at an animal shelter as the animal photographer. Whereas I have almost no ECs having to do with education. I think my ECs would look very good if it were on a journalism application, and okay on an education application. </p>
<p>If I were to switch my major to journalism how difficult would it be? I've heard education is one of the easier school to get into and journalism was more competitive. </p>
<p>It's not something I'm dead seriously considering, but it's something I'm been thinking about.</p>
