Is it very difficult to transfer to a different school in NYU?

I've applied to Steinhardt because I'm looking into an Education major...
What if I get accepted (let's not jump the gun, ha) and decide somewhere along the line that I want to change my major/school?

Is this very difficult? Does it depend on what school/program?

Changing majors isn't hard. But I never did it, so you might want to check on this. I'm pretty sure it's not going to be difficult, though.

Inter-schools transfers' difficulty depends on the school you want to go to. Transferring into Gallatin isn't difficult, according to the people I know who did it, and I imagine that transferring into CAS wouldn't be hard, either. Transferring to Stern is very competitive. I don't know how easy it would be to transfer to Tisch - it probably depends on the program.

I'm in the exact same boat as you, but I'm in CAS and want to transfer to Steinhardt. Let's just switch places and make it easier.
