I'm not sure what I want to major in, so I'm thinking about taking the math 20 series. How difficult is math 20 compared to math 10?

Anyone?..

Its hard to tell since most people take one without taking the other. I’m assuming you’re deciding between management science and economics? If yes, I would suggest taking the 20 series since at least you have the option of doing economics as well.

And if the first course in the 20 series is hard for you, you can just continue on with the 10 series afterwards.

I think Math 20s have slightly more material covered than the 10s from what I saw.
Order of difficulty in my opinion for the 20s from easiest to hardest - A, C, B I haven’t taken any others yet

I took math 20A, then switched to 10B and C. I found the 20 series quite a bit more challenging. I know that the 20 series ends up covering more material, but I also found the exams to be quite different.

The 10 series exams pretty much look like what you’ve done for homework; really straightforward derivations and whatnot that you can figure out if you know just the basics. The 20 series gives you more word problems, and types of questions that make you apply the knowledge.

I hope this all made sense!

it really depends on your professor, but it shouldnt be that bad
