How difficult is the engineering program compared to business?

I've heard engineering is a challenge to maintain good grades. I'm looking into computer engineering or bioengineering. I just took calculus my senior year in HS, how much will that help?

Unless you took AP, you’ll have to take calculus again anyway, so I wouldn’t say it’s a huge help. It will help you when you retake calculus though.

Those majors will be much more difficult than business, but you’ll also have more and probably better options than you would from a business degree. I think most employers know that a 3.0 in engineering and a 3.0 in business aren’t the same thing.

To help succeed in engineering you need to stay ahead, practice problems, ask for help when needed and STUDY! Get a free tutor from your learning center. The tutors will have most likely taken the same class with the same professor. They can usually offer valuable tips for doing well in the class.

Engineering is sort of like learning how to play an instrument. If you don’t enjoy it and don’t continually practice, you wont be great at it…

For most people it is much more difficult. It depends on aptitude but engineering is more rigorous.
