how difficult to get into Tulane?

I'm a junior and would appreciate any advice about what Tulane is looking for in prospective students. My grades are on the low end (like 3.5ish) so I plan on getting at least 2100 on the SAT and taking a few SAT IIs?

What do you think?
And I live in Cali and don't need financial aid so do I have a better chance?

safty possibly... i got in with 20k so u will be fine.

You should get in Tulane with those stats.

Wow- I hope so. I'm so worried though because one of the causes for my low GPA is one very bad grade - I got one D plus for my 2nd semester of ALg2/Trig Honors.

Any other advice? Thanks so far.

If you get that 2100 you should be fine, just keep your grades solid and you're most likely in.

So they look primarily at the numbers? not volunteer hours or essays...

I actually want to transfer to tulane....can you help me?
i go to school at the university of hartford, and im a freshman.
at the end of the year i will have over 30 transferable credits, so i wont submit my SATs, which are kind of on the low end.
I have a 3.8 GPA, and the highest in my class is a 3.89, so im right up there.
I made the presidents list, which is different then the dean list...it's b/c i had better than i 3.5 with six 4 credit class.
Im visiting tulane, and meeting my admissions person...
it the only school im really interested in

oh and money isnt an issue, i wont be asking for scholarship or any kind of aid or loans at all. - idk if that willl help my chances.

ANY AdVICE IS A HUGE HELP

thanks
