I’m wondering how difficult it would be to transfer from the business school to the college of arts and sciences. I applied to the business school but I’m not sure if I want to stay in it. Its too late to change which college I applied to right? How many students are usually allowed to transfer and is Business ->CAS a common transfer?
Here is the link to the one page form you have to fill out to transfer colleges. You also have to get some signatures of administrators. I have no idea how often students do this or if it is always approved.
My son was accepted into the Business College to get a minor. (He was also able to get a second minor) There was a limited number of spots available for this program. The real upside to Lehigh keeping limits on the size of their programs is that ensures all students easily get into all the classes they need, when they need them. Most students at Lehigh graduate in 4 years. The scheduling was always very easy for my son. It seemed like the spots were just waiting for the kids. He never had any problem getting any class he needed.
Feel free to just call and ask how a transfer works! Really, we always found Lehigh’s staff to be very helpful.

Hey @lastsat2014, if you are applying as a freshman for the class of 2015 it might be different from what the process @kikkydee is giving! I am not exactly sure for transferring between colleges, but I am thinking of adding a second major, and I just contacted the counsellor of my region and she told me that it will be fine and I will be adding it when I have a meeting with my academic advisor in the new year! So my best advise is to email your admission officer of your region and they will gladly hep you!
I agree calling and talking to someone really would be the best thing.
They don’t set quotas on who can transfer. It’s a matter of filling out a piece of paper. I’ve switched twice since I’ve been at lehigh Calling them is your best option if you want to do it before you get there
