I´ll be transferring from what I believe is the number 23 or 24 LAC to Wash U in St. Louis in the fall...I´m curious about how much more difficult the academics will be in comparison to my old school...does anyone have any idea??

i don't really know much about the academic rigor of wustl, but congratulations!!!

well how did you do in your older school?

i had a 3.8 gpa

You'll do fine. They would not accept you if they thought you could not handle the rigor of their curriculum. Congrats on your admission to WUSTL...I envy you :p

I truly envy you too. My friend here at rank 20 or so LAC who has 4.03 GPA wants to transfer to washu. I wonder if he will be able to get in.

congrats mgrace, Wash U is not nearly as difficult to get in as a transfer as it as a freshman. They accept roughly 1/3 of all transfers, which is pretty big. They accept on a rolling basis, i was thinking about applying, but i didn't. If I were to apply, I would have sent in my ap in January and probably would have heard back in Feb or March.
