I'm a second semester freshman in college and I'm looking around for a school with a vet/equine science program since the school I'm at doesn't offer one. I really like what I've read on UMass Amherst's site, but I don't know how difficult it is to get in to that school.

During high school I had an average GPA of 3.5 all 8 semesters. My first semester in college I got a 3.077 GPA and this semester will probably be about the same. I got a 23 on my ACT the two times I took it. Haven't taken the SAT. I'm looking to transfer in to their Veterinary and Animal Sciences program. Will I need to take the SAT? I've heard you need it for all east coast schools.. the reason I didn't was because I figured I would be staying in-state, but that is no longer the case. I live in WI.

Could anyone help? Thanks.
