<p>On the forms here, you’re asked whether you have ever had sex with an African. I guess she wanted to know if some countries or areas were more okay than others. It was a more embarrassing question than mine, because I had just made a mistake in bubbling in the answers, whereas she had to tell a bunch of acquaintances and strangers about her sexual history.</p>
