how do Cal states calculate gpa?

do they use all 4 years? and do they weight Ap and honors classes?

Cal states except for Cal Poly SLO calculate their CSU GPA just like the UC’s but use the capped weighted GPA (8 semesters of extra honors points in 10-11th grades).

SLO uses 9-11th grades in their GPA calculation instead of 10-11th grades for the a-g courses.

Senior grades will maintain your provisional admission and will not be used in your CSU admission decision.
