<p>How do colleges know that you actually did an EC like a club or a sport (in or out of school)?</p>
<p>also when submitting SATs how do they know you submitted <em>all</em> of them? I don’t know the collegeboard program well so does collegeboard make sure you sent all of them (esp. for schools who kind of ‘require’ all scores to be submitted?_</p>
<p>Colleges won’t call your schools’ clubs and confirm EVERY single EC that you put down - much less for every applicant. They’ll check if something is fishy or seems unlikely. You can stretch it to an EXTENT but don’t make up obvious BS like “President of <strong><em>”, or “Helped </em></strong> in a country outside of ___ with __” or other over-the-top ECs unless you actually did them.</p>
<p>I remember a counselor told me that they’ll see all your scores no matter what… like, they’d know if you chose to <em>hide</em> scores from them. 
Why not show them your scores? Especially if you show improvement, it’d be a plus… And shows you aren’t afraid; and that you’re not hiding anything.</p>

<p>the reason I ask is cuz for clubs I am joining in january all my clubs ( i had other business to take care of ) and I’m afraid i might not be on the ‘roster’ (if there is a roster lol, I wouldnt kno) for the club and they would think I lied.</p>
<p>also I took kaplan during the beginning of sophomore year (the year i am in now) and I only got a 1900 (highest) on their practice SATs… I’m afraid ot take the SAT now because of it so I wanted to know if is based on honor for schools which require every test</p>
<p>They won’t check your litany of clubs because it won’t make but an iota’s difference in deciding on your admittance. Relax.</p>

<p>It sounds like you are joining clubs to pad your resume. I hope you know that a laundry lists of random clubs doesn’t look good at all. Show commitment.</p>
<p>why are you saying that? all the clubs I am joining are things only that I like. i’m not even joining debate club or such, so don’t amke assumptions</p>

<p>Colleges WILL NOT be able to see any scores u dont send. From what I have heard (Im pretty sure), colleges will have no way of telling whether a student hid any scores. It’s an honor system.</p>
