When I send my sat scores via collegeboard and submit my application via commonapp, how do my colleges identify my scores and connect it with my application?

Very carefully.

They use your name and DOB and such. They make a file for you when they receive a first document from you, then whenever a new document comes in when with your info, they add it to your file.

Some schools, if they choose to receieve it and you provided it, will use your SSN. Other things they’ll also use include your address. Out of the ten-odd schools I applied to, only one (UNC-Chapel Hill) had an issue connecting them (the name and DOB were the same, I had an additional address because of a school change)-- all the rest were fine, and UNC was quick to correct their mistake once I got them on the phone for long enough.

That’s what I guessed but I still wasn’t sure… I didn’t put my SSN on my college board account but its on my CA. My name is pretty unique so I’m sure they’ll have no prob with it lol Thanks for the answers!
