How do colleges know your actual ACT scores? Do they just look at a transcript you give them?

My college is asking me for my transcripts (and it will include my ACT scores). Is that all they usually do is look at the piece of paper?

My college is asking me for my transcripts (and it will include my ACT scores). Is that all they usually do is look at the piece of paper?

You log into the website of your test and send your scores through that website.

Many high schools put your test scores on your official transcript. Some colleges accept that score on the transcript in lieu of an offical report from the testing agency. However, majority of colleges require you to order the testing agency to send official scores to the college. Thus, you need to check the particular college or colleges to which you are applying and determine applicable rules, which you can usually find on those colleges websites, because failure to provide an official transcript from the testing agency when one is required will result in your being denied admission.

So they’re just going to ask for a transcript, look at the paper, and that’s all?
