I'm a soon to be senior high school student with a 91.250 GPA. (How to convert that, I don't know.) My class rank is 100 out of 186 because instead of taking academic classes, many students at my school decide to take basketball, football, JROTC, and band as 2 to 4 of their 8 classes a year and recieve the grade of 100 for simply showing up in those classes. I'm worried that colleges will look at my rank and simply think that ALL classes in my school are easy and not equal to other high school course work since my GPA is lower than SO many other students in my school. The academic courses that I take are rigorous to say the least. Our school is offering it's first AP courses this coming year, and only has had honors courses before, which I have taken. What else could I do in this situation to not look like a moron who has worse grades than 1/2 of my graduating class?

The school profile sent by your GC will have info to help you. The GC should put down that your school does not weight classes and you have taken the most rigorous schedule. Most colleges weight class rigor above class rank.
