How do colleges look at non-college level courses?

So I was doing great and had straight A's for 2 semesters and got my GPA up to 3.75

Then I took an intermediate algebra class accelerated online over summer (horrible decision). Ended up pulling a 79% and of course in community college that just equals a C.

Will potential transfer colleges look strongly down on this even though it wasn't a college course? It is a "3" credit course but those credits are pretty much imaginary as they don't actually count towards anything.

If I get a B in my upcoming Stats class could that show them I'm not a dunce at math (I'm a poli sci major anyways).

Also when I apply to Law Schools will that C get averaged into my college course work GPA when they look at it?

THIS C IS BUGGING ME SO BAD!

Thanks for any help.

Most likely it won’t count. When I had an intermediate class and transferred they entered it as non-transferable 0.0 credit.
