How do colleges look at these SAT scores?

10/06: CR 780, Math 690, Writing 690</p>

<p>Would they take my highest sitting cause I'm worried that they'll just drop my first scores which I like better? or do they combine my highest scores? or do they take the latest one (I think Rutgers does that)? It's for UVA, UMich, UNC--Chapel Hill, Rutgers, Barnard, University of Illinois--Urbana-Champaign, Emory, Lehigh, and Boston College, but I would just like a general idea since I doubt anybody knows the policy for all of them.</p>

<p>Most colleges take the best scores for each section across multiple seatings. So it would be 800, 720, 690. Of course you'll need to check with each of your schools.</p>
