How do colleges put my CommonApp file and my scores together?

<p>Hi everyone,</p>

<p>I'm just wondering how colleges put my CommonApp application with the SAT and TOEFL scores I send via my CollegeBoard and ETS accounts. </p>

<p>In other words, if I log in my CollegeBoard account to send my scores to a certain university, how does the university manage to associate these sent scores to my CommonApp application and put everything in a single file? Do I have to "link" my Collegeboard account with my CommonApp account in a way or another? </p>

<p>No need to try and link your CA application and supporting materials as long as you keep your personal information consistent.</p>
