How do colleges view an A-?

Hey,
At my high school we do not weight grades, AP classes are not weighted and neither are "+"s and "-"s.
I have a 4.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale, but I have gotten two or three A-'s over my four years. A+'s are completely banned in our school, so even though I earned a few they do not appear on my transcript to even out the A-'s.
So, my question is, does an A- make a large impact on prestigious colleges' judgement of your GPA? I know it obviously looks slightly worse than an A, but how much worse? I got my few A-'s in AP classes. I go to one of the best public schools in the nation, it is pretty competitive and prestigious colleges know us and what the grades here mean. So, wondering if an A- is really nothing to care about or if colleges read A-'s as something completely different than a glorious A?

Any school that might see an A- as a bad thing is more interested in other things than grades (EC’s etc.)

What schools have you discovered that would view an A minus as a negative?

Although admissions is stressful, don’t let common sense leave the building. Please chillax

An A- is a good grade. Even the ivies think so

relax- it’s fine. IMO, all A’s would be a sign that your courseload is too easy for you, while a few A-'s and B+'s show you’re still doing very well but challenging yourself.
