How do colleges view this?

I have both school transcripts and IGCSEs in hand. In my IGCSEs, I scored straight A* (A+), the highest grade available. In my school transcripts, my grades are mixtures of A+, A and A- with GPAs around 3.80 - 3.90. It is worth noting that all the subjects I took in IGCSE were my subjects of interest. In my school, however, I had to take a few compulsory subjects that were not of my interest.

My question is, will my school transcripts affect how they view my academic achievements negatively? Or put another way, will my IGCSEs positively affect how they view my academic achievements? And if yes, to what extent? Thanks a lot.

Each school sets its own policy about this, so there is no simple way to predict. Sorry. Send everything, and try to be patient while you wait to hear back from them.
