How Do Counselors Indicate Restrictions on AP Classes

On the counselor school forms in the Common App, it says

How many courses does your school offer:

If school policy limits the number a student may take,
please list the maximum allowed:

Nowhere do I see a space to indicate that APs are not offered 9th/10th grade. So how do counselors report this, and how do colleges know? Should I make it a point, and ask my counselor to specifically say that no APs are offered to freshman and sophomores?

thanks

It could be indicated in your school profile. In any case, if you have taken the maximum APs for your school in just junior and senior year, then adcoms will probably recognize that you could not have taken more (in sophomore or freshman year).

Ohh ok, never thought of it that way. I will graduate with 7 classes out of a possible 9, so that would indicate I took almost the maximum amount
