How do demerits affect one's college admission

I am currently Junior and will be moving on to second semester of Junior Year at February.
I have quite high GPA and I am considered to be at first or second place of my grade.
I haven’t taken any SAT so far but in two PSAT I took, I got around 1470.
So I am not very concerned about my grades but my problem is the demerits.
I received one warning in the second semester of Sophomore year. And 3 demerits(!!) at last semester, which was the first semester of Junior Year. Two of them was received in one week so I got a detention for them.
Call me stupid, I know. It wasn’t the best semester.
I’m planning to take early action so I have two semesters left, second of Junior Year and fist of Senior year. And here’s my question.

Supposing that I don’t get any further demerits or warning for next two semesters, how bad would my 3 demerits look in my college admission? Do colleges even look at them? If I am planning to apply for Yale or Princeton, is there any chance that the demerits screw everything up (forgive my expression) no matter my GPA, AP scores, SAT, SAT Subject tests and extracurricular activities?

They don’t.

Colleges are more concerned with major transgressions - drug dealing on campus, hazing, etc. They don’t care about any disciplinary actions due to tardiness, sneaking off campus, smoking in the boys room, etc.

I really hope you are right xD Haha Thank you very much for responding

I am.

If colleges rejected every applicant that got a detention for unauthorized use of a cell phone, they would not be able to fill the class.
