How do essay line breaks render when AOs are reading the essays?

This may be a stupid question, but when I wrote my essay in Google Docs, there is a space between paragraphs that breaks up the text like one would expect. However, when I pasted it into the Common App, it showed up like an extra blank line, so it looked like:

paragraph 1, paragraph 1, paragraph 1
paragraph 1, paragraph 1, paragraph 1

paragraph 2, paragraph 2, paragraph 2
paragraph 2, paragraph 2, paragraph 2

I deleted the extra blank line, so in the text editor it looks normal:

paragraph 1, paragraph 1, paragraph 1
paragraph 1, paragraph 1, paragraph 1

paragraph 2, paragraph 2, paragraph 2
paragraph 2, paragraph 2, paragraph 2

But after I hit the Continue button and leave the editor, it looks like this:

paragraph 1, paragraph 1, paragraph 1
paragraph 1, paragraph 1, paragraph 1
paragraph 2, paragraph 2, paragraph 2
paragraph 2, paragraph 2, paragraph 2

Will the AOs see the essay the way I see it in the editor, or as it appears after I hit continue? Should I put the line breaks back in?

If it shows correctly when you hit “preview,” it should display correctly for the AO. But glitches happen, and AOs know that, so don’t spin your wheels.

Wow, I never even noticed the “preview” button! That helps. Everything looks right in preview mode.
