I'll most likely be taking Chem 1A, Math 53, E10 or BioE 10, Physics 7A or CS 61A, and BioE 24.

Do all teachers of a subject use the same book(s)?
How do I found out what books (ISBN preferred) I need to buy for these classes?
Where is the best place to buy these books? Amazon?

For those classes, yes, all sections/classes will be using the same books. You can find out on efollett.com. Also do a search on the course name/number often there are old sites for those classes. For some of those there are special editions for Berkeley (Math 53 for instance uses a custom edition of Stewart’s Calculus textbook). The CS 61A book is available free online:
[Structure and Interpretation of Computer Programs](http://www-mitpress.mit.edu/sicp/full-text/book/book.html)

You can also use [Welcome | Ned’s - Berkeley](http://www.nedsbooks.com/ucb). They are a bit friendlier because they post the picture of the book sometimes. However, neither website puts the ISBN so you’ll have to find it online.

Good sites to use to buy books are half.com and amazon.
