<p>So I'm applying for transfer to another college and I was wondering how do I ask for a recommendation? For the common application, it offers a recommendation form but would I ask my professors through email and then send them the rec form electronically? And then since I'm applying to multiple colleges, how would I get it back so I could mail it to these colleges?

<p>Always ask in person. Make sure its a professor that knows you well (hopefully you got an A in the course also). And be sure to give your professors enough time to write it (atleast a few weeks notice). As for the common app, I am unfamiliar with how it works. You could always be straight up and tell your professors that you’re applying to multiple colleges and if they could just make multiple copies of the letter with a different school name being addressed in each.</p>
