<p>Recently went to oreientation, signed up for classes. Got a dorm room. But recently my dad got a huge lawsuit and we won't be able to pay for my college, therefore I'm going cheap and going to a CC. Cheaper and help my dad save money. I don't want loans. And my decision is final, I want to cancel my admission before I have to give them more money.</p>

<p>I’m sorry about the lawsuit. I hate it when you have everything lined up and then it falls through because of money. Anyhow, I’m sure you’ll transfer easily and it will work out for the best.</p>
<p>And like others have said, make sure your housing contract and stuff are canceled before the deadline. Double-check, in fact.</p>

<p>For what it’s worth, I’m transferring from a city college and I don’t know why everyone doesn’t spend their freshman/sophomore years at a CC. Enjoy it!</p>
<p>Ask them if you can defer. Then if some miracle happens, and you can go, then you are still admitted.</p>
