How do I change my major if I've been accepted to UP already?

Let's say I get accepted to UP, and I want to change from Engineering undecided to Business before the term starts? Would this process be easy?

You aren’t really in a major yet, and during the freshman orientation they will ask to you confirm your tentative major. Being admitted to a major happens sophomore year, and you have to meet all the College requirements THEN, not just as a freshman admit. So nothing is guaranteed until then. Make sure you do your very very best work, and don’t get distracted – business is one of the most stringent majors!

My son was also admitted for engineering and wanted to change to business. He called admissions and asked to be switched to business, but was told they would need to re-evaluate his application because the business school was harder to get into than engineering. He was admitted to business and completed the program. You will need to complete 9 or 10 entrance to major requirements during freshman and sophomore year (certain accounting, business, math classes, etc) with a C or better to continue into a specific business major. You are allowed to take those classes if you are admitted to the business school or if you are in the DUS program. I think anyone can switch to DUS during the orientation period in the summer where you register for your first semester classes.

Thank you :)
