I was wondering how I can change my second major choice on my Umich application. I think I still want my Econ major as first choice, but how do I change my secondary major because I can't find it anywhere. Also, do they require you to state your pre-professional concentration (i.e. I want to major in econ, but go pre-med since I'm trying to keep my options open)? I really need to know this because although I though I was going to do biz for a while, I'm considering going pre-med again, and it would look really weird on my essay if I say I want to be a doctor, but have not put pre-med on my major choice.

Why even bother? Michigan does not care want you mark off as intended major. The University knows you will change your mind a dozen times before your junior year. Leave it as undicided if you prefer, but it really does not matter one way or the other.

well see, I was dumb and didn't put undecided, and now I picked one of them as something I have no interest in anymore, so would it still not matter? The problem is that if I have no passion for that major (CS) and its going to be hard to explain in the LSA essay that I want to study CS if I don't want to

It does not matter. Like I said, Michigan expects students to change their minds about their major. Now, if you still haven't submitted your essays, why can't you change your declared major?
