check the site where the admittees sign in, freshman central? or applicant central? look for messages that say it is available and it will prob direct you.
you may be a tad early. I know its hard to wait. Your efc is gen a good indicator.

How do I access my financial aid information at MyUNC?
In order to log into MyUNC, you must have both an ONYEN and password. An ONYEN and random password are assigned to each student by the University

they need an onyen.
i don't have that b/c when i ask for mine, the database says i'm not allowed to have it yet.

my bad --but I thought we received a msg last year on the site she would check regularly about her application which directed us somewhere. It makes no sense to lock people out who nave not paid deposits.....when their deposits may be based on financial ability. Surely there is another way!

yes indeed.
a hero must find his way with bravery.
and if he can't, he must visit collegeconfidential.com

on this site you can use your social, your PID and your BIRTHDATE.
Please note the birthdate has to be entered a certain way,,,,,if one way does not work , that will. I think this is how we got it last year.

i still can't create my onyen. I already have my PID but it doesn't allow me to create an ONYEN!

forget about the ONYEN until you pay your deposit.
if you want to get your Fin Aid info use the other info to get in. Others today have used the above link to get that info.

OH this helps!
they still havent made my decision tho..apparently they need some sort of tax form..

I haven't made a deposit and I have an ONYEN...maybe I'm special...

ninja
did you receive an ONYEN from the university, or did you create one?
